a storm in a teacup

If only all storms in a teacup were this pretty.
My own totally-blown-out-of-proportion-private-dramas also tend to involve blueness and static discharge. Nonetheless, they're not half as beautiful or delicate as this one below. If only...

Description

I've just seen there is a British version too. However, a tad biased as I am, I would totally go (were I able to afford it) for the Royal Delft one.

  3. That is amazing. Making art out of storms/dramas could be a good therapy:)

  4. for the record, I wasn't directly linking to any personal drama-queenism ;)
I just love this arty literal interpretation of an idiom.

francesca, yes, it would be fabulous, wouldn't it? "dramart" therapy :)

I also read there were others like "storm in a cream bowl" and "storm in a wash-hand basin" (as well as the US English "tempest in a teapot".)
how cool would that be, having a b&w newspaper boat rocking in a stormy wash-hand basin or a bright red tugboat fighting against white creamy fluffy waves... oooooh.

  9. How do you find such fun things? My own personal storm would need more room to stir - maybe a mixing bowl! Very clever Ms. Ninja :^)
