Table of Elements is a design of his up for voting at stylefactory at the moment. 

The way it works is you click on "Make it" and, should he get enough votes, his table goes into production. How very bloody exciting is that. I shall tell you how: very.

You have to create an account, i.e. giving an e-mail address, but they do not spam, it is just to avoid bots, etc. 

 

Only six days left to vote. I am not good at pushing and that is why it has taken me forever to post about it here. I did not want this blog to turn into a promotional site plus there is the whole privacy thing too...

But, you know what. Sod all that. His table is bloody fab. If I do not support it, who will, ei?

The second and third pics are the prototype he has been using for months at his place. I have eaten, written and read the paper on that table and it is a fine piece of furniture. The simplicity of it is just great. I want one.

So, lovely people of the Interwebs. Would you help him get it made? Muchas gracias.

The table is a very green design, assembly is easy, has been cut out of a single sheet of mdf and is very affordable. What else can you wish for.

This site's a perfect example of one of the reasons why I have multiple (online) personalities (that and the voices in my head prompting me to pretend I'm a Japanese covert agent.)

Oh yeah, I found Robert Palmer quite funny, yonks ago, when I were a wee lass (is he still out and about?) However, I loved Michelle Shocked's parody of his model-filled videos even better. Remember that one? Ha.

I know many more came later on but... bah. As far as I'm concerned, this is the one spoof that is both funny and fresh.

P.S. I'll try and stop pasting (posting? pasting? - pasting? posting?) videos here soon as I've just realised I'm on a roll. I shall write something for a change. How about that?)

I really loved the Moon Walking illustration google used of a couple of months ago.

This one today is pretty good too (I like the previous one better) but this water-on-the-Moon-discovery-lark basically got me thinking it was perhaps time to revisit that other theory on water on Mars.

Okay, I've just realised this looks a bit like product placement with that humongous logo up there but, considering I'm using blogspot for nothing... (Nothing, nothing, we'll have to see about that. I don't normally believe in not paying for stuff so I reckon my soul's already more than charcoaled and I will end up having to sell my body (or summat) too for not having read the small print regarding blogditions of usage and shit. Oh well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.)

Off to do sensible stuff and things now. Boo hoo.

I'm so b, let's move to denmark

I'd forgotten all about an article I read some time ago until today.

The clocks have gone back, it's already getting darker and the gloom of winter is upon us. Crap. Piles of. (Unlike here, it's just soil, MODgirl. Honestly. Sigh.)

Right, it's starting to get dark, dank and bleh so we should, at least, make life a bit easier for ourselves. Therefore, I recommend reading the article here and if, like me, you identify yourselves with the quote "I'm useless early in the morning. All I can do is drink coffee and stare into space." then, perhaps you could also start the revolution.

I know I won't. I am a stirrer rather than a doer so, please, go ahead, fight for me and let me know when you're done. When the EU has passed the bill proposal and made it law, at that stage, I'll totally be there backing you up. Only after 3pm though. Ta.

No seriously. It's a brilliant idea.

My colleague sent me this video today and it made me giggle. For obvious cliché-avoiding reasons I am not posting it on facebook but I'm sure it'll be doing the rounds there soon enough (if it hasn't yet, that is) getting her plenty of attention.

I didn't know this Ozzie artist at all so I'm not yet sure whether I like any of her other stuff. However, here's her webpage and her youtube channel so that everyone can check her out and decide for themselves.
